Founded by C. Larry and Karen H. Slates in 1978, Mid Missouri Electric has become a mainstay of Columbia and mid-Missouri by providing quality electrical services for over 40 years.

As a family based company, our dedication and commitment to our clients is continually shown through the hard work and personal interaction we put into each project.

In the beginning, Mid Missouri Electric started by taking on small jobs such as wiring houses, along with other residential projects. With time, experience, and building trust along the way, we have built a professional, positive reputation within the construction industry, which has allowed us to take on larger and more specialized projects. We are now able to handle multi-million dollar commercial and industrial contracts like apartment complexes and office parks.
